Why should my business consider partnering with Supportist?

It's good for business. And it's just plain good. We believe business isn’t just about making money, it’s about making a difference. We created Supportist to foster tighter connection within the community while helping local businesses succeed.

How do you choose your business partners?

We choose merchants who believe commerce can be a catalyst for community.

We look high (and low) for companies that want to not only serve their bottom line, but do so while serving the Bend community at the same time. Specifically, we look for merchants who are committed to making Bend a welcoming, tight-knit community, working with us on an ongoing basis, creating exclusive offers they don’t promote anywhere else, and making good on their perks and offers to our members.

Last, but certainly not least, we consider things like customer reviews, location, family orientation, and few other criteria when choosing business partners. If you believe your business would fit with Supportist, then please contact us.

How much time is involved?

It takes about five minutes to sign up your business with Supportist. Adding a new perk into the system takes about 5-10 minutes on average. There is time associated with training your staff so they are familiar with your current perks. The time it takes to think up a perk is obviously variable and depends on prior experience, staff/marketing resources, and how creative you want to get. We are always happy to help with developing perks and training if you desire.  

Will a percentage of our sales be taken out for community support?

Nope. All of Supportist’s revenue comes straight from members, not partners. And we pass on 20% of a member's fee to a non-profit of the member’s choice. You support the Bend community and the Supportist model solely by creating perks and being on the platform.

Is there any long-term commitment?

We won’t make you sign a contract or sign a formal commitment, but we do ask you to stick around for at least 12 months.
